A PROPHET HAS ARISEN IN ARABIA
Muhammad (PBUH) climbed to the top of al-Ṣafā, a prominent rise near the Kaʽba in Mecca. From this high place, he called out to his people: “O my people!” His voice carried through the streets, stirring curiosity. “Who is that?” they asked, and soon a crowd gathered at the foot of the hill.
He began with solemnity and conviction: “All praise is due to Allah, the Almighty. I praise Him and seek His help. I believe in Him, and I place my trust in Him. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah—alone, without partners or equals.”
WHAT IS ISLAM?
Islam is the recognition that the One True God holds power over all things. It is a path to peace and security—achieved by surrendering to God and faithfully living according to His commandments, as delivered through His prophets.
Throughout history, every nation has received prophets, each sent with guidance tailored to their people and time. But with the coming of Muhammad (peace be upon him), God revealed a final and universal message—one meant for all of humanity and for all times. His teachings serve as a timeless guide, leading the way until the Last Day.
Living by these teachings—internalizing them and embodying them in daily life—is what defines the way of Islam.
